PRESIDENT'S GREETING

Greetings!

 

On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Iota Pi Omega Chapter, welcome to our website! 

 

It is a blessing and an honor to serve as the chapter’s 25th President. Chartered on December 16, 1972, Iota Pi Omega has grown into a multi-generation chapter of over 100 chapter members today. For over 50 years, we have been actively committed to serving the Brevard County, FL community and all mankind.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, established in 1908, is the oldest sorority established by college-educated African American women. Today, our members continue to honor the legacy of our founders. Under the leadership of our 31stInternational President and CEO, Ms. Danette Anthony Reed, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® remains a globally impactful 21st-century service organization, galvanized to lead on the front lines of change and advocacy. 

 

Our 2022-2026 International Program theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, provides the platform for us to elevate and deliver on our service mission through six initiatives to Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Local Community.
